For food and toiletries is a broad range of different possibilities. Daily food markets and discount supermarkets like Lidl and Aldi charges less than high-end supermarket chains such as Albert Heijn and Jumbo. Many supermarkets have special weekly offers that could have your interest. In the city centres of Arnhem and Nijmegen you will find many stores ranging from the cheaper discount shops to more sophisticated boutigques. Shops are usually open from 9.00 until approximately 18.00. However, opening hours can vary from place to place. Arnhem en Nijmegen also have Koopzondagen (Sunday Shopping).
